The Roundtable Residency is seeking individuals interested in the facilitation of this years artists in residence. The Roundtable Residency is a six week long peer-mentored and self-directed experimental artist residency program, hosted at The Dragon Academy in Toronto. The primary goal of the residency is to assist emerging artists in the development of their practice, and to facilitate collaborations among artists and other practitioners with disparate methodologies and experiences. To this end the residency provides necessary workspace at no cost; critiques and constructive feedback from members of the arts community in Toronto; workshops and other skill/community-building events; and culminates in a final exhibition. The theme for the 2019 Residency is 'RESISTANCE'.

Positions we are looking for:

> Writer in Residence (documenting the residency experience)

> Illustrator / Designer in Residence (working with the Writer to create a publication for the 2019 Residency)

> Publicity Officer (maintaining the online presence of the Residency)

> Programming Coordinator (scheduling events, workshops, etc. for artists in residence)

As a Facilitator, you will be responsible for:

> Sitting on a jury with The Roundtable Residency Board Members to select the artists

> Engaging with the artists and their studio spaces

> Contributing your specific skills and experience to the Residency as a whole

> Maintaining a regular presence in the studios throughout the six week period of the residency

As a Facilitator, you will receive:

> A shared space to focus on your own practice/projects

> Experience in facilitation, administration and curation

> The opportunity to collaborate with your peers and members of the Toronto arts community

> A letter of reference from The Roundtable Residency Board of Directors
